Rico Torres, a renowned still photographer, is based in Madrid but is widely recognized as a Hollywood photographer. Born in Peru and raised across various Latin American countries, his upbringing enriched his artistic vision with a global perspective.

After studying Broadcasting and Film at Boston University, Rico ventured to Los Angeles where he began his journey as a production assistant at a small company. Photography, initially a hobby since his teenage years, quickly became a central focus in his life.

In his early 20s, while building a portfolio by photographing his actor and model friends, Rico was drawn to the captivating world of movie sets. An opportunity arose when a producer friend needed a photographer for a film. Although lacking experience in still photography, Rico seized the chance, and that trial turned into the start of an illustrious career.

While Madrid may be his base, Rico's artistic prowess has earned him the reputation of a Hollywood photographer. Collaborating closely with acclaimed director Robert Rodriguez, he has left an indelible mark on some of the film industry's most iconic posters. "Desperado," "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," "Machete Kills," and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" bear the hallmark of his artistic vision.
